Equipment of Palletizing Systems

 

Conveyors
The conveyors used in the palletising system are selected according to the customer’s capacity requirements and the handling properties of the products. The palletizing system may include a variety of roller conveyors, chain conveyors, belt conveyors, multi-belt conveyors and plastic and metal lamella conveyors for heavy and light products and pallets.

  
Transfer wagons
Transfer wagons remove or transfer the products between the operating equipment. They move on rails and with special arrangements also crosswise the rails. 
  
Pallet Dispensers
Empty pallet stacks are fed with conveyors to the dispenser and one empty pallet at a time is released to move to palletizing. This guarantees continuous material flow and efficient operations. A pallet dispenser can also be used to stack empty pallets. Done pallet dispensers can be adjusted to different pallet types and sizes either automatically or manually.
 
  
Manipulators
A manipulator can handle different types and sizes of pallets. A manipulator is ideal also for handling pallet bottom sheets and covers. Video 		 
  

Wrapping Machines
Product and pallet wrapping reduces product damage costs and ensures that the products are protected from production to delivery. The automatic wrapping machine covers the product with the desired amount of stretch film and, if required, binds the product to the pallet. Products can be wrapped vertically and horizontally.

Done specializes in customerwise, tailor-made automatic or semi-automatic wrapping machines and their additional functions. Insulation bundles or other long goods are wrapped in ring wrapper which includes special techniques. This enables handling without pallet and gives an excellent palletizing result. Labeling
The automatically printed labels are attached on the products or on the pallets with a label applicator or with a labeling robot. When needed the label checking can be done with the same equipment.  The data exchange with the customer control system is an essential part of the labeling.  The labeling meets the standards of industry and trade. PLC Control System
Done uses mainly Siemens S7 PLC systems for machine control and total system control. A significant part of our control system is the modern bus technology such as Profinet and other equipment, for example sensors, barcode scanners and weighing units which can be connected to the bus.

For visualization Done uses InTouch and WinCC interface programs. Remote connection allows 24/7 PLC support services for the system. With safety PLC, the necessary safety equipment can be reliably connected, utilizing bus techniques, into the overall control system. Typical safety devices are safety light curtains, safety edges and safety scanners. When needed Done can use its PLC system to make connections with customer’s different control systems.
